Lamarcus tackled the challenge with strength and determination, finishing his college degree and starting a successful career in the insurance industry. He began his insurance career by selling life insurance, eventually earning his Property and Casualty License in order to gain more opportunities for growth.

A native of Houston, Lamarcus earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Houston Christian University, graduating as an Honors Scholar from their three-year Honors Program. While in college, he also earned the HCU's President's Award, which is given to students that demonstrate good scholarship, excellent personal qualities, sportsmanlike participation in student activities, and effective support of the University.

In his spare time, Lamarcus enjoys achieving fitness goals, billiards, golf, social and professional networking events, dancing, and travel. On the weekends, Lamarcus also finds time for jacuzzi soaking, steam rooms, sport massages, book reading, and his favorite TV shows.
