Before joining Aegis Insurance & Financial Services, Associate Agent Grant English spent over a decade honing his extensive skills in sales, marketing, and customer relations in the Personal Training industry. As a strong communicator, Grant takes great pride in building solid relationships with clients, whether on the phone, in person, or via email. He strives to always help clients as much as possible by being an active listener, discussing their current and potential issues and providing effective solutions. Grant also enjoys the educational component of the insurance industry, as it offers ample opportunities to teach clients more about their insurance coverage.

Prior to joining Aegis, Grant served as a Manager for two different personal training companies, where he supervised younger personal trainers and educated them on sales components and customer service in order to help grow their clientele. Because of his years of experience as a Personal Trainer, he understands the importance of self-discipline and encouraging others, and is excited to apply his talents and experience to his new role at Aegis.

Grant's professional goals include gaining more insurance experience and becoming well versed in industry terminology in order to provide exceptional client service and also mentor new insurance agents in the future. In addition, Grant would like to build up his business network by connecting with other young professionals in order to form strategic business partnerships. He is excited to be at Aegis, where the sense of community and teamwork is evident by everyone's willingness to help and partner together to achieve success.

Outside of the office, Grant loves to spend time with his wife and nine-year-old daughter. As a former personal trainer, he enjoys exercise and sports, specifically playing or practicing golf. As a new homeowner, most of Grant's free time now is spent with projects around the house or yard. On Sundays, Grant can be found serving his church home of Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy.

A native Houstonian, Grant grew up in the suburbs of Sugar Land. His favorite thing about Houston is that Houstonians can drive 30 minutes in any direction and come across something unique and fun. He is proud to be a Texan and Houstonian because of the strong sense of community, toughness, and willingness to help others.
