Debbie Garwatoski serves an integral role with Aegis as an Account Manager. She joined the Aegis team in the spring of 2016 after spending 17 years as a Customer Service Representative with Liberty Mutual. Debbie also completed a series of courses to earn her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) Designation, which helps her offer the best possible customer service experience to insurance clients.
Debbie is best known for her friendly demeanor and ability to consistently provide excellent customer service. She enjoys being available to help with client issues, learning more about clients to understand their insurance needs, and being accessible when disaster strikes. She is passionate about customer service, understanding that it's a hard job to do but immensely rewarding and satisfying at the same time. Debbie strives to always go above and beyond to solve client problems and find the right answer, and not just a quick answer.
Debbie thoroughly enjoys working for an independent insurance agency like Aegis where there are still ample opportunities to have personal interactions with clients. She also celebrates the fact that Aegis is a smaller agency, offers a warm, family-feel work environment, and there is good camaraderie among coworkers.
After growing up in Alexandria, Louisiana, Debbie and her family relocated to Houston 20 years ago for her husband's job. During her time in Houston, Debbie has come to love and appreciate the friendliness of Houstonians. Debbie and her husband have two daughters as well as two Boxer dogs. When she's not at the office, Debbie can be found doing yard work or spending time poolside with a good book.
